Conference Center De Poort is a complete and professional company in all respects. Our guests often notice that the care for quality and hospitality is high and the prices are low. This, which we hear back from our guests, is the result of a conscious choice, namely the underlying business ethic.

These ethics include the following:

1.       De Poort wants to provide services that contribute to human well-being. For us as a conference Center, this means that the most important thing we can offer is “true hospitality” and care. The virtues of care and attention are the fundamental values for this. A professional "living room" is what we want to offer and what we want to grow into.

2.       The personal growth of the employees of De Poort is of great importance. The goal is that each person grows in abilities and insights. After all, nothing stands still. The place where you work (a quarter of your life is spent there) is an important place where you can learn those lessons. Leaving the way you came is actually lost time.

3.       We strive to grow a collective of employees and a close working partnership. Trust is the attraction force between people. Diamonds are polished with diamonds. Polishing your qualities is done by qualities of others.  In a (working) atmosphere of trust, the growth (convulsion) is not less painful but more enjoyable. A good team performs better.

4.       We want to generate a reasonable profit in order to ensure our continued existence over time. The De Poort chooses to keep her profit percentage at a moderate level. Together with a “healthy moderation” in our expenditures, we can offer our services below the usual prices and still be a sustainable and reliable “supplier” in the long run. After all, there are bookings years in advance.
